Foraging in a City Yard
Don’t weed your yard; munch your way through it! Weeds you curse and pull may be a gift from nature! If you maintain an organic yard, many wild greens are highly nutritious, delicious, easy to prepare, and free!
You will learn:
·Harvesting, Cleaning, and Storing
·Preparation for eating
·Sample and prepare delicious recipes
·How weeds benefit your yard and garden
·Maintaining an organic yard
·Identifying edible wild greens growing in urban areas
When: Saturday, May 4, 2024, 1-3:30 pm

Bring: Any weeds you need to identify. (Cut them the morning of the workshop and place in water to create a weed bouquet)
